Job description

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Executive Education. The Assistant Director will assist the Senior and Associate Directors of Non-Degree Executive Education and Lifelong Learning in growing Stern’s dynamic non-degree Executive Education and Lifelong Learning business by executing a sophisticated marketing and business development strategy and ensuring smooth delivery of programs held at NYU Stern, locations off site or virtually and supporting new and repeat business development. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, staffing and managing the logistics and operations of multiple non-degree programs and executive education special events. The Assistant Director will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns, engaging with new and repeat clients, contracting and managing payments for faculty, collecting and organizing program materials, coordinating program logistics, and serving as relationship manager for designated non-degree programs.


The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination. Must include either marketing experience in a service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects and satisfying multiple high-level constituencies. Ability to develop School's relationships with corporate firms and individual attendees in order to increase interest and participation in executive education programs, excellent presentation, networking, and written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to demonstrate cultural awareness is also required.


In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $84,700. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
