POSITION SUMMARY

Averitas Pharma is seeking a strategic, insight-driven, and highly hands-on Associate Director of Data & Analytics to transform complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence that drives decision-making across our commercial and medical organizations.

This role is ideal for an analytics leader who can operate comfortably at two levels: diving into the details of complex data sets to answer nuanced business questions and leading high-impact strategic projects that shape the company's future. It will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that analytics are relevant, impactful, and aligned with business objectives, helping stakeholders understand not just what the data shows, but why it matters and how it should influence strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analytical Leadership & Insight Generation
    • Serve as the organization's analytics champion, guiding stakeholders to understand not just what the data shows, but why it matters.
    • Hands-on development of predictive models, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and forecasting to support brand and commercial strategy.
    • Provide strategic insights on brand performance, marketing effectiveness, and business drivers
    • Develop and deliver analyses that connect data findings to commercial and medical strategies, influencing both tactical decisions and long-term planning.
    • Present complex analyses in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communication to the needs of each group.
    • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc reports that provide context, highlight drivers, and reveal actionable opportunities.
  • Hands-On Data Analysis & Problem Solving
    • Personally investigate complex, detailed data questions - validating sources, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring insights are built on accurate, reliable data.
    • Apply advanced analytical tools and methods to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that drive deeper understanding.
  • Data Enablement & Governance
    • Oversee the availability, integrity, and usability of data sources, including CRM, patient services hub, distributor and specialty pharmacy data, marketing data, and other commercial or medical data domains.
    • Maintain strong data governance practices and ensure data hygiene in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
    • Manage vendors and third-party data/analytics providers for key business deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS, CAREER EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

A combination of relevant education and applicable job experience will be considered.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in analytics, statistics, or related field preferred.
  • Career Experience
    • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics or commercial operations
    • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, MMM, and A/B testing
    • Strong experience with pharma syndicated data (Specialty pharmacy, claims etc.)
    • Proven ability to manage both detailed analysis and high-level strategic initiatives
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO)
    • Exceptional communication skills and a talent for data storytelling to technical and non-technical audiences

TRAVEL

  • The ability to travel up to 25%, including overnights, as dictated by business need and attend all company sponsored events/meetings/conferences.

ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE

  • Demonstrates the highest levels of ethics, integrity and trust while acting with courage and candor.
  • Maintains high accountability for personal actions and results and has the ability to ensure a high level of commitment to the success of the organization, peers and customers.
  • Operates in compliance with all applicable regulations and professional standards at all times.

VALUES & BEHAVIORS

  • Live Entrepreneurship: Plan for long-term growth and build a future business predicated on innovation
  • Be Patient-Centric: Deliver innovation for patients and challenge themself and others to improve patient outcomes
  • Join Forces: Seek diverse input, collaborate across all functions and leverage resources from global partners
