Job Title: Associate Director, Research Security

Job Description:
Job Summary
The Associate Director, Research Security will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operational activities of Purdue's research security program and developing agile and responsive responses to university initiatives to allow researchers to compliantly engage internationally in a highly dynamic environment. This position will have oversight of the research security training and certification, including developing procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations, as well as sponsoring agency policies and procedures related to research security. As a member of the Research Security and Export Controls Leadership team, along with the Senior Director of Research Security and Export Controls and the Associate Director of Export Controls, the Associate Director of Research Security will assist in making strategic decisions for Purdue's broader Research Security and Export Controls approach.
While on site is preferred, hybrid or remote will be considered for the right candidate.

  • Master's degree
  • Three or more years of experience in research security compliance and higher education compliance operations
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related experience
  • Additional Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required upon date of hire because this position must be eligible to evaluate information contractually restricted to U.S. Citizens by the U.S. Government
