Job Description
We are seeking a Business Customer Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence within the supply chain and logistics industry. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills and a proven track record in generating new business opportunities. A critical component of this role will be to ensure that company profit goals are met.
Responsibilities
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities in target sector.
  • Develops and executes strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers both internally and externally with customers.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to design tailored supply chain solutions for clients.
  • Monitors industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Prepares and delivers compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate business terms within the context of contract templates.

• Utilizes sales technology to keep prospective and engaged customer relationships organized and active.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience, required.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and sales within logistics, transportation, or supply chain, required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, required.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industry best practices, preferred.
