What You'll Be Doing
The Developer II will participate in all phases of the development process including design, integration and maintenance while observing proper behaviors, patterns, and standards. The Developer II will begin to learn cross-disciplinary development skills in a full-stack environment. The Developer II will ensure that Stifel's best practices are used in all development projects and procedures.
What We're Looking For
• Work with Development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release and the maintenance of multiple products and systems.
• Researches technical problems and suggests improvements for web applications.
• Assist in the development of procedures, including unit-testing, that can be utilized within continuous integration practices.
• Follow Stifel's coding and development standards.
• Document clearly and effectively within code as well as outside of code.
• Coordinate with other team members when tackling harder developmental efforts.
What You'll Bring
• Displays awareness of the impact of actions on the business and acts in line with it.
• Ability to demonstrate proactive approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration with a team taking advantage of familiarity with appropriate development environments.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Education & Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum Required: 2-4 years' of progressive experience in software development
Systems & Technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience in C#/.NET (Core and Framework) or T-SQL on MS SQL Server
• Experience with Angular, AngularJS
