As an associate designer, your job duties vary significantly by industry, but they generally involve researching trends, communicating with clients, and procuring materials necessary for designing the project. Regarding academic qualifications, you need a bachelor’s degree in fine arts or a major related to the specific industry in which you choose to work. • Design and adapt retail assets across print and digital channels, including signage, displays, promotional materials, and retail marketing collateral
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for packaging and retail deliverables, ensuring proper specifications, dielines, asset placement, and file setup
  • Organize and label files clearly for internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional partners
  • Review artwork and proofs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality before release
  • Ensure creative assets meet brand, production, and retailer requirements while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail

  • Flag risks or production concerns early and propose solutions

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Associate Art Director and marketing partners to align on goals and creative direction
  • Present work and rationale clearly, incorporating feedback effectively
  • Contribute thoughtful creative input and constructive feedback in team reviews
  • Support broader creative initiatives and step in where needed on other creative work

Compensation and Benefits:
