Job Description: JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Engineer and Design Technician position will assist engineers and designers with basic engineering tasks, such as data entry and organization in SPI, quality verification of engineering deliverables in client-specific format needs, coordination of our PSQS checking procedure, and assist onboarding new staff.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic understanding and ability within SPI: claiming, data sheets, and reports
Basic understanding and ability within SAP
Basic understanding of ACAD
Proficient in creating Material Requisitions
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Perform effectively in a team environment, both in-person and remotely
Strong communication skills, especially verbal - position includes significant coordination efforts)
Strong personal and team organization skills
Highly detail-oriented; check and review othersโ€™ work for technical and clerical errors

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develop basic procurement specifications, documentation, data sheets in various formats and SPI
Create instrument and I/O lists for project scope and ensure adherence to client-specific needs
Create Material Requisitions in Anvilโ€™s APEX program
Work within a large team of engineers and designers, effectively coordinating between groups
Assist engineers and the Resource Manager in coordination quality checks within the group
Assist Resource Manager and Supervisors with basic administration task of the group and onboarding staff
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree or equivalent โ€“ required
A.S, in Computer Systems or Applied Science - preferred
SPI certificate โ€“ preferred
Basic ACAD certificate โ€“ preferred
7+ yearsโ€™ experience in a similar role - required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit/stand for long periods of time working at a computer
