Job description

Overview of Role

As an Associate Delivery Manager at 66degrees, you will play a vital role in supporting and managing the project life cycle for our client engagements, with a strong emphasis on leveraging agile delivery methodologies. This is a growth-oriented role designed for a professional looking to expand their delivery management career in a fast-paced, collaborative cloud consulting environment. You will work closely with senior delivery leaders and technical teams to ensure innovative solutions are executed effectively and delivered successfully to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage small-to-medium scale projects or specific workstreams within larger enterprise programs from initiation to completion, leveraging core agile principles.
  • Facilitate day-to-day operations for cross-functional teams (cloud, data, AI, application development) to maintain momentum and keep projects on track.
  • Lead daily standups, scrum ceremonies, and project status meetings, championing agile practices within the team.
  • Act as a key liason between customers and technical teams to document requirements, track project milestones, and log risks/issues to keep project scope clear.
  • Assist in resolving project issues and client concerns promptly, escalating to senior management when necessary to ensure uninterrupted progress.
  • Maintain project health by tracking scope, schedules, and deliverables. Ensure project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, FinancialForce) are meticulously updated and RAAIDD maintained
  • Own and manage project financials and margin performance 'as sold or modified with approval,' tracking project burn and profitability alongside core schedules.
  • Prepare regular status updates, project retrospectives, and health reports for internal stakeholders, leadership, and client points of contact.
  • Actively develop your domain and technical knowledge regarding cloud and data solutions to better facilitate project discussions and decisions as well as maintaining required certifications.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in project coordination, scrum mastering, or technology implementation support, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong foundational understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. A Scrum/Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with agile project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Google Workspace, or Asana.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate client needs into actionable team tasks.
  • Solution-focused mindset with the ability to stay organized and detailed-oriented while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen interest or basic background in software development and cloud technologies (familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a major plus).
  • Capacity to travel to client sites as needed (<25%).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
