  • Vascular experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.

Overview

Job Summary for EchoVascular Ultrasound

Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo exams and vascular ultrasound exams. Procedures include but are not limited to carotid Doppler, ABI/arterial Doppler, venous Doppler (DVT and venous Reflux).

Job Responsibilities for EchoVascular Ultrasound

  • Performs cardiovascular ultrasound imaging examinations.
  • Performs studies independently in both in-patient and outpatient setting as well as procedural areas such as the Cardiac Cath Lab and Operating room.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborates with reading physicians and medical staff for diagnosis.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree: High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience: <2 Years

  • Supervisor Experience: None Required

  • RDMS License/Certification or equivalent

  • BLS required within first 30 day of employment

  • Degree: Associate Degree - Sonography
