Administrative Support Assistant- Program Assistant
Competency Restoration and Forensic Treatment (CRAFT)

Be part of a team whose responsibility is to provide treatment for clients residing within Fulton State Hospital.
This Program Assistant/Admissions Clerk position is responsible for supporting the function of the CRAFT program. This person is responsible for tracking information including competencies, Engages, and other vital information, which requires the ability to work independently and resolve issues. Additionally, this person is responsible for keeping minutes in program meetings and coordinating schedules for various meetings and spaces, which requires great attention to detail. This person is responsible for coordinating and assisting program leadership in performing their duties including scheduling, notifying them of vital information when they are away, and keeping the files of the program in order, which requires a high level of confidentiality and the ability to prioritize. This person must be able to function with considerable independence and handle multiple complex task deadlines simultaneously.
This position is also responsible for inpatient and outpatient admission as well as 96-hour involuntary admissions. Candidates will initiate communication with courts, sheriff departments, defense and prosecuting attorneys and interview clients during the admission process. This person will also be responsible for obtaining proper court documents, sending court hearing notifications and coordinating discharges.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in office support work
  • Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with computer programs, including Microsoft office
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
