Location: Humble, Texas
Pay: Up to $140 per day, depending on the district, education level, and/or teaching certification.
Job Brief:
As a substitute teacher, you will support classrooms on a day-to-day basis when the regular teacher is unavailable. You'll provide continuity for students, follow lesson plans, and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Your flexibility and professionalism ensure that students continue to receive quality instruction even in the teacher's absence.
Responsibilities:
  • Cover classrooms when the regular teacher is unavailable
  • Follow and implement provided lesson plans
  • Manage the classroom environment and maintain student engagement from bell to bell
  • Provide support to other classrooms or staff as needed

Skills Required / Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 22 years old
  • Associate degree or at least 60 completed college credits
  • Bachelor's degree or a teaching certification (preferred but not required)
  • Previous experience as a substitute teacher (preferred but not required)
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • Must maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times
