We are seeking a talented and professional Consultant (Software Developer Skillset) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
  • Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company.
  • Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
  • Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
  • Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
  • Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information.
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
  • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.
  • Ensure documentation follows company compliance standards and branding guidelines.
  • Gather feedback and revise documentation as needed.
  • Participate and often lead custom solutions and integration with related software solutions, and standards.
  • Subject Matter Expert in leading integration of key business functions into architecture, design, testing, and implementation of software solutions.

  • Work through all phases of the project lifecycle, including reviewing requirements, designing services that lay foundation for the new technology platform, building new interfaces and integrate with existing architectures, developing and testing code, and delivering seamless implementations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with fullstack development, including but not limited to: .NET Core, C#, Java, SQL, a modern front-end technology (Angular, React, Vue, or Aurelia).
  • 5+ overall application development experience.
  • Experience working with or presenting to clients or upper management.
  • Strong product mindset understanding what systems are being built, what goals are needing to be met, and how it affects businesses/customers.
  • Some experience with AWS and or Azure.
  • Experience developing and delivering software in an agile methodology.
  • Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
  • Must be able to independently solve complex problems by utilizing experience and other resources.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
