The Software Developer provides hands-on development and managing of requirements gathering, designing, planning, developing and implementing custom software applications and solutions. The position is responsible for effective software development and deployment of various custom accounting software, data integration services, operational tools and data / reporting portals. This role is critical to digital transformation at the firm and to provide more advanced services internally and for our clients using new technologies, tools and processes in multiple practice areas.

  • Office Expectations/Hours: Hybrid position; general work schedule is Monday โ€“ Friday, 8 hours/day between 8am to 5pm with overtime, as needed.

What Will You Do?ย 

  • Design, implement and move into operational mode various custom applications, reporting, data integration, automation tools and digital services.
  • Perform requirements gathering with end users and leadership.
  • Provide top-level support, when needed, to technical support or infrastructure team.
  • Provide extensive and thorough documentation to IT peers and end users, as needed, to operate new custom software and tools.
  • Assist, direct and execute back-end and front-end web development along with requisite database design, creation and operations.
  • Other relevant job duties as assigned or required by IT leadership to support software development, deployments and operations.

What Do You Need to Get Here?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred; or 2 to 5 years additional experience in software development positions and responsibilities.
  • 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience using .NET framework, Core or similar
  • 2-5 years SQL server experience
  • 2-5 yearsโ€™ experience in web development in Angular, ASP.NET or similar
  • Knowledge of common design patterns
  • Some proficiency or experience with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap is a plus
  • Attention to detail with excellent time management and communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and a team player with high performance standards who will maintain a positive working relationship with IT team members.
  • Experience with GIT based source control and Python is aย huge plus!ย
