CLSH VISION: Strive to be the best public psychiatric hospital possible CLSH VALUES "I CARE": Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence This position is for an Associate 4 to a Psychologist (ATAP) position in the Psychology Department located at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting the operations of patient care within our Psychology Department.

The ATAP 4 plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH's values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients, and ensuring our facilities are maintained accordingly. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care. Minimum Qualifications A master's degree in psychology followed by four years of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans; OR Thirty semester hours of graduate-level training in psychology earned after completing a master's degree in psychology plus three years of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans; or A doctorate degree in psychology plus one year of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Responsible for delivery of psychological services under supervision of a licensed psychologist for Adult Behavior Services (ex. psychological testing,behavior management programs, individual and group therapy, etc.)

Coordination of Individualized Behavior Support Plans or behavioral interventions for ABS. Planning, organizing, writing, and implementation of behavior management plans or behavioral interventions under direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. Serves as facilitator for Master Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan Revisions in Treatment Team meetings and makes revisions and/or changes and recommendations for assigned cases.

Provides training to Direct Service staff on the implementation of behavior support programs. Willingly accepts and performs additional duties and assignments necessary for the smooth operation of the hospital. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Job Appointment or Transfer Career Progression: This position may be filled as an Associate 4 to a Psychologist Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm Compensation: $1,965.60 bi-weekly minimum hire rate How To Apply: No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy
