Job description

Role Description:
The Senior Manager, Data & Analytics (D&A) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of data and analytics capabilities across the organization, including AI applicationsto deliver actionable insights and drive business value. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy, lead data integration and governance efforts, and define and implement AI models that align with business objectives within the Finance function and the broader organization.
The role will touch all aspects on the business and interface with various functions. It is a highly visible role with frequent exposure to senior leaders in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy that supports the company's financial and business goals
  • Support the transformation of the finance function and other departments through advanced analytics
  • Co-create D&A strategy with the IT Function to ensure data foundations are set to enable analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize key financial analytics initiatives
  • Enable reporting automation by developing and maintaining dashboards using data visualization tools that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to stakeholders
  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO and other members of the leadership team to establish and coordinate the AI Governance Council
  • Own and advance the Technology Roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise architecture
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures within Finance
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all data used for analysis and reporting
  • Act as Finance Lead/ owner of financial systems (HFM, Tagetik)
  • Collaborate with FP&A on the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics models to support financial forecasting and strategic planning
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic decision-making

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, finance or accounting
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with relevant financial experience
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R
  • Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and data modelling techniques
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Self-starter with strong results orientation
  • Collaborative style with proven written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $121,800.00 and $182,600.00 per year. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
