Job Description: Supply Chain - Business Analyst

Overview:

The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for supporting Supply Chain Operations optimization through project coordination, development of business requirements, data analysis, and reporting solutions. This role partners with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions. The ideal candidates possess strong analytical and communication skills, project management experience, and the ability to translate business needs into actional insights and operational improvements.

Your day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Reporting Solutions & Project Management:

  • Create and review business requirements in a variety of functional areas including (but not limited to) DC Operations (Distribution), Transportation, Network Planning, Inventory Management Flow Planning and Inventory Management

  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget

  • Create reporting solutions utilizing Data Visualization tools that identify trends and data insights for key stakeholders (i.e. Tableau or Power BI)

  • Deliver technical documentation for all steps of the project life cycle

  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions

Technology, Infrastructure, & Data Management:

  • Organize and analyze Big Data to create shareholder value using technologies such as data lakes, next-gen BI, and enterprise data management systems

  • Oversee and maintain organizational database management systems, including SQL Server and Alteryx Server, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance

  • Evaluate and adopt advancements in analytics, AI, and emerging digital tools to enhance enterprise-wide performance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Transformation, Process Automation, ML/AI

  • Proven project management, business, and people development experience

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI / Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, Google Big Query, Business Objects, etc.)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment
