Job description

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software and a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Two (2) + years of job experience in CAD design or product evaluation testing.

  • Associate Degree or equivalent preferred

  • Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models of ball valves, valve components, assemblies, and tooling

  • Develop detailed part and assembly drawings including dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, and BOMs

  • Revise drawings and models based on engineering changes, manufacturing feedback, or customer requirements

  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, quality, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost‑effective

  • Apply GD&T per ASME standards to ensure proper fit, function, and performance of valve components

  • Support new product development, product improvements, and customization of valve designs

  • Maintain document control and ensure drawings comply with company standards and revision control requirements

  • Assist with engineering change notices (ECNs) and drawing updates

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and customer specifications

  • Create exploded views, assembly instructions, and technical drawings for manufacturing and service purposes

  • Support sales and customer engineering needs with technical drawings and layout concepts when required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects concurrently
