Job description

Job Summary:
SAIC is seeking a Computer Engineer II to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This position focuses on systems integration and development testing for specialized, high-reliability facilities and engineering expertise in Navy strategic systems and electronic warfare.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain software code and components based on defined requirements and design specifications
• Support full SDLC, including coding, unit tests, integration, and defect resolution
• Support system integration and Developmental Test (DT) activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Contribute to technical documentation (design desc., test procedures, guides)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems engineering, cybersecurity, T&E)
• Follow configuration management and version control processes
• Implement secure coding practices and support RMF-aligned requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 - 6 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
• Experience in Agile or iterative development environments
• Applies standard principles and practices
• Works on defined tasks with independence and limited guidance for complex issues
