About the Position

The Adjunct Professor position provides instruction in the B.S. Business Administration (BSBA) degree program in an onsite and hybrid format. The BSBA program integrates business management with social responsibility, preparing students to become ethical and community-minded business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and facilitate interactive, high-quality onsite or hybrid courses within the B.S. Business Administration program using the Canvas learning management system.
  • Maintain an active and supportive presence in the onsite or hybrid classroom, including responding to student inquiries within 24-48 hours.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and submit grades in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Engage students through meaningful dialogue, reflective practices, and collaborative learning approaches that support academic success.
  • Identify students who may be at risk academically and refer them to appropriate institutional support services.
  • Collaborate with faculty colleagues to review, refine, and enhance course content in alignment with program goals and academic standards.
  • Complete required faculty onboarding, adjunct training modules, and participate in scheduled adjunct and all-faculty meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Management, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in a relevant business or management setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in a hybrid format using a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas).
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to cultural responsiveness.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

Anticipated Salary

$25.00 to $28.00 per hour
