Position Summary: Clinical lab instructors for the Associate Degree RN program at Washburn University Institute of Technology direct, guide, and evaluate students in the clinical and laboratory setting in collaboration with the nursing course coordinator.

Essential Functions:
Maintain licensure and certifications required by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
Direct, guide, and evaluate student performance in the clinical and laboratory setting with the guidance of the course lead instructor.
Maintain student records about the program.
Develop and maintain working relationships and constructive interaction with other faculty and personnel of the school, cooperating agencies, and community groups.
Perform all other functions necessary for the proper operation of assigned courses.

Required Qualifications:
Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) or in the process of earning an MSN
 Three years of experience in at least one of the following clinical settings: Adult Medical/Surgical, High Risk, Maternal/Child, or Mental Health.
Current Kansas licensure as a registered nurse in good standing with no disciplinary action pending.

Physical Requirements:
This is a Designated Safety Sensitive position and will be required to undergo drug screening.

Hourly, Part-time, Temporary, Varies/Shift   
Background check and drug screen are required.
