Reporting to the Dean, the Executive Associate Dean serves as the School's chief administrative officer, providing leadership for finance, operations, facilities, strategic planning, compliance, accreditation, and resource management. • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, facilities, space planning, and capital projects.
  • Lead strategic planning, operational assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee environmental health and safety, risk management, emergency preparedness, and institutional policies.

Why Lyon College?
Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine is intentionally designed to reimagine veterinary education and service. As a new program, it offers uncommon freedom to build effective systems, shape institutional culture, and establish high standards for operational excellence, safety, stewardship, and continuous improvement-without legacy constraints-while remaining grounded in Lyon College's liberal arts tradition and commitment to student-centered learning.
Located in Cabot, Arkansas, within the greater Little Rock metropolitan area, the School emphasizes experiential learning, technology-enabled education, and strong partnerships with industry, healthcare, agriculture, and community organizations. Senior leaders have the opportunity to create an integrated administrative and facilities framework that supports the School's mission from day one and contributes directly to the future of veterinary education in Arkansas and beyond.

  • Significant administrative leadership experience in higher education, healthcare, veterinary medicine, or another complex organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, strategic planning, operations, and organizational leadership.

Preferred
