Job description

Job Title: Medical Lab Tech
Location: Rushville, IL 62681
Salary: $62K/annum
Shift Information: 3 openings, 1 is full time nights, 2 are full time days
Qualifications:
  • Successfully complete an accredited MLT/CLS, MT/MLS program and have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, Applied Science, chemical, physical or biological science
  • Successful completion of the ASCP/AMT registry exam.
  • Recommended one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General Duties: Responsible for obtaining patient samples for the performing of laboratory tests in order to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in accordance with established policies and procedures and is responsible for recognizing results that require referral to the Pathologist. Other duties as assigned.
