Job description


This role work Hybrid 3 days a week on-Site at the Northbrook, IL Office.
The Associate Data Scientist, under direct supervision, supports the analysis, development, modification, testing and maintenance of data science software. Supports business leadership and senior development professionals in the analysis of software and performs problem resolutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and support AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity across Commercial Operations.
  • Build automation workflows, reusable analytics assets, and self-service insight solutions that reduce manual effort.
  • Assist in the development of AI agents, prompt libraries, and intelligent workflows for reporting, planning, pricing, and sales operations use cases.
  • Support data preparation, data quality monitoring, and governed analytics foundations.
  • Create dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions using Power BI, SQL, Python, and related technologies.
  • Partner with other Commercial Operations pillars, and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and scalable insight delivery.
  • Contribute to experimentation, prototyping, and adoption of emerging AI capabilities aligned with Commercial Operations priorities.
  • Document solutions and promote knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable support and governance.
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate technique.
  • Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
  • Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
  • Use data modelling and evaluation strategy to find patterns and predict unseen instances.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or any other related field of science.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Experience querying databases and using statistical and computer languages.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc..) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Python coding skills and problem-solving, good analytical & communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate an idea with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Work as part of a small team, sharing ideas and contributing to the strategic goals.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $62,500 to $75,000 USD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
