Job Description:
The Associate Data Analyst provides analytical and reporting support across the Powers Health data ecosystem under the guidance of senior analysts and Data & Analytics leadership. This role focuses on learning healthcare data structures, analytical tools, and reporting standards while supporting operational and strategic initiatives. The Associate Data Analyst assists with data collection, preparation, validation, and basic analysis to help transform raw data into meaningful insights. The role works closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, contributes to dashboards and reports, and ensures data accuracy and consistency.
The position is remote, but you need to live locally to come onsite periodically for meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Health Informatics or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar roles including internships or academic.
  • Proficient in Excel and other basic data analysis tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for summarizing analysis and supporting project updates.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and data manipulation techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data (claims, patient, provider) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and on time.
