Job Requirements Experience: * Possess the knowledge and capability to establish, enforce, and maintain data governance policies and frameworks across cloud-based and on premises environments. * Personnel must be proficient in metadata management, data lineage tracking, data cataloging, and regulatory compliance standards such as DoD IL-4/IL-5, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 Rev. 5. * Experience with data classification models, access controls, and policy-based data lifecycle management is required. * Personnel must have demonstrated experience in developing and managing data governance frameworks, implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC data security policies. * Experience with tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview is required. Education: * A Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in data governance. * Desirable but not required certifications include Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
