Position Summary
Mor Furniture is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative Creative Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, broadcast, social media, print, email, in-store, and ecommerce channels.
This role helps bring the Mor Furniture brand to life through compelling visual storytelling, creative concepts, copywriting, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate combines creative thinking with strong execution skills and has a passion for developing marketing materials that inspire customers and drive results.
The Creative Marketing Specialist will work closely with marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, showroom operations, and external partners to ensure all creative assets align with brand standards and campaign objectives.
Compensation: $28-$32 per hour Depending on Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Stewardship
• Maintain and uphold the Mor Furniture brand identity across customer touchpoints.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, visual standards, tone of voice, and overall brand presentation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, creative standards, and campaign templates.
Creative Development
• Concept and develop creative marketing campaigns in partnership with the marketing team.
• Generate ideas for seasonal promotions, product launches, events, and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate on creative strategies that support business goals, customer engagement, and showroom traffic.
Copywriting and Messaging
• Write and edit marketing copy for paid advertising, email campaigns, website content, SMS marketing, radio and television scripts, point-of-sale materials, and internal communications.
• Ensure messaging is clear, persuasive, brand appropriate, legally mindful, and customer focused.
• Proofread and revise copy to maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency across campaigns.
Design Content and Creation
• Create and update marketing materials for digital, broadcast, and instore channels.
• Assist with content creation, graphic design, and creative asset production.
• Coordinate creative requests and revisions to ensure timely project completion.
Campaign Execution
• Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Assist with promotional calendars, campaign launches, and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to deliver creative assets on schedule.
Collaboration and Management
• Work closely with merchandising, ecommerce, media, showroom operations, and external partners.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and project status meetings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Organize creative assets and marketing materials for easy access and future use.
Additional Responsibilities
• Stay current on design trends, retail marketing best practices, emerging platforms, and consumer behavior.
• Support special projects, events, content production, and company initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, and other responsibilities as needed to support the Marketing department and company priorities.
Requirements
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, creative services, content creation, copywriting, graphic design, or a related field.
• Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of branding, visual communication, and customer-focused marketing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
Preferred
• Retail marketing experience, preferably in furniture, home furnishings, ecommerce, or consumer products.
• Experience supporting multi-channel advertising campaigns.
• Familiarity with social media content creation and digital marketing channels.
• Photography, video editing, or content production experience.
• Experience working with AI-assisted content creation tools and collaborating with global teams or international business partners is a plus.
