Job description

The Role...
We're looking for a creative, culturally connected Social Media Manager based in Los Angeles to lead two key Instagram channels across the business: a new private Instagram channel for Soho House LA members, and Cecconi's, our global Italian restaurant brand.
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys creating content as much as planning strategy. You'll own both channels end-to-end -from content creation and copywriting to community management, reporting and content planning - working closely with teams across Los Angeles and internationally.
The role reports to the Global Head of Social (UK) and partners closely with Membership, Operations, Events and Marketing teams.
LA Members Channel
This July, Soho House launched a private Instagram account exclusively for Los Angeles members-a hyper-local social channel designed to bring our Houses, community and culture to life through real-time, insider content.
The channel exists to create a social experience that feels more personal, spontaneous and community-led than our global @SohoHouse account. You'll be responsible for shaping its voice, growing engagement and creating content that members genuinely want to follow.
Objectives
  • Build awareness of the Soho House LA offering, including events, programming, new menus, openings, collaborations and member updates
  • Create demand for the channel through exclusive access, sneak peeks and "if you know, you know" moments
  • Drive footfall into Houses by encouraging members to engage more frequently with spaces, events and experiences
  • Strengthen member connection, pride and retention by celebrating the LA community
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day management of the LA members-only Instagram account
  • Capture and create social-first content across Houses, events, screenings, launches and cultural moments
  • Develop creative ideas that drive members to want to follow and engage with the channel
  • Produce engaging Reels, Stories and feed content
  • Write copy that feels conversational, culturally relevant and distinctly local
  • Build strong relationships with Membership, Events and Operations teams to stay ahead of programming
  • Manage community engagement, including DMs and comments
  • Monitor channel performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations

Cecconi's Channel
You'll lead the global Instagram presence for Cecconi's, managing the account from strategy through to execution. Working with restaurant teams around the world, you'll showcase the unique character of each location while maintaining a consistent global brand identity.
Objectives
  • Grow brand awareness through lifestyle-led storytelling
  • Showcase the unique personality of every Cecconi's location while maintaining a cohesive global brand
  • Inspire guests to visit by highlighting food, drinks, design, and atmosphere
  • Produce best-in-class visual content through photography and videography
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Cecconi's global Instagram account end-to-end
  • Plan and maintain the global content calendar
  • Coordinate content production, including photography and video shoots
  • Work with Operations teams across all locations to source stories and content
  • Publish content, manage community engagement and monitor channel performance

Who We're Looking For
  • A proactive social media manager and content creator with excellent creative instincts
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, content creation and community building
  • Confident capturing and editing content on mobile
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a natural, engaging tone of voice
  • Comfortable managing online communities and interpreting social performance data
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to balance strategy with execution

Important to Know
  • This is a full-time, in-person role based in Los Angeles
  • Evening or weekend event attendance will be required
  • The successful candidate will spend significant time within Soho Houses and at member events creating content
  • Start date: ASAP
