Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications, and is responsible for content creation utilized to develop winning proposals. This individual will help manage and coordinate submissions from kickoff through final delivery by gathering and organizing information from multiple departments while keeping pursuit teams aligned with internal deadlines and requirements. They will support pursuit teams throughout the proposal process by drafting and editing both copy and graphics. This individual will represent Higley Constructionโ€™s core values while supporting the companyโ€™s Business Development team in day-to-day Marketing and Communications efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and create RFP, RFQ, Lump Sum Bid Submissions as well as organize and maintain a SharePoint library of proposal content.
  • Coordinate the proposal process from kickoff through final submission, including establishing internal deadlines, scheduling and facilitating proposal reviews, interview preparation sessions, and other required meetings, communicating submission requirements, gathering input from multiple departments, tracking deliverables, and keeping the pursuit team on schedule.
  • Create project interview and client introduction presentations in collaboration with the project team.
  • Draft proposal content, including graphics and business writing content.
  • Print, assemble, and deliver proposals and marketing collateral.
  • Assist in developing and creating company marketing collateral while promoting Higley Constructionโ€™s brand and core values.
  • Proactively contribute to the Business Development Departmentโ€™s specific vision and strategy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (may be substituted with substantial work experience in the commercial Construction or Architecture & Engineering industry)
  • Although no previous experience is required for this role, 1-2 years of experience in marketing, business writing, graphic design, or a related field is beneficial.
