Gallagher's Rug & Carpet Care is a locally owned and operated business located in the historic Central Eastside neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We offer a range of services for residential and commercial clients, including carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and preventative and repair services. Position Overview:

As our Office Coordinator, you will work directly with the owner to be a part of a team that exemplifies world-class customer service. Youโ€™ll be responsible for the daily operations of the office, team coordination, and creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and customers. This is a key role for someone dependable, trustworthy, and truly invested in the success of the team and the business.


Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Coordinator at Gallagher's Rug & Carpet Care located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks, conducting rug intakes, and providing excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate one-on-one with the owner to build and maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team
  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, communications, and administrative tasks
  • Foster a positive, professional, and caring workplace culture aligned with our core values
  • Monitor and improve internal processes to ensure efficiency and excellence
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and other essential documentation
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as an office coordinator/admin assistant
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, dependability, and trustworthiness
  • Strong computer and administrative skills (Google Docs, Sheets, scheduling tools, etc.)
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and supporting a purpose-driven business
  • Experience with scheduling
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills
  • Experience in the cleaning or hospitality industry is a plus
