Join our dynamic engineering firm in Green Bay, WI as a Lead Estimator - Industrial, where you'll lead the development of our estimating competency. You'll have the unique opportunity to guide and influence the creation and implementation of practices, processes, and tools for timely, accurate, and competitive project estimates.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Competency Development: Establish a clear vision for the development of Foth's estimating competency. Develop and implement a comprehensive estimating program (practices, processes, and tools) aligned with our company's goals, industry best practices, and project requirements. Continuously improve and enhance the program based on data-driven insights from past projects as well as adoption of the latest tools and techniques.ย ย 
  • Estimating Practices Lead: Personally lead the estimating process on complex and high impact projects, providing expertise to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and competitiveness while simultaneously mitigating project risk. Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.ย ย 
  • Team Leadership: As the competency grows, build a high-performing estimating team by cultivating a collaborative, continuously learning, results focused environment.ย 
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree with 10+ years' experience estimating capital construction projects, including design-build and engineering-led construction.
  • Experience with multi-discipline industrial manufacturing, including involvement with packaging, process piping, controls, electrical, and facilities.
  • Experience having built and led a team.ย ย 
  • Experience with construction cost estimating software (e.g., Means, Richardson, Timberline).
  • Experience with current Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) products.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time based on business and project needs.ย 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience within food, beverage, and other consumer products industries.
  • Experience with project cost forecasting and tracking.ย 
$120,000 - $180,000 a year
The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. ย Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program.
