With pay ranging from $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, a $7,000 sign-on bonus, and a $5.00 shift premium for off-shifts, this role is packed with rewards and growth potential.

What youโ€™ll doโ€ฆ

  • Support our Operations team through hands-on troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
  • Design, fabrication, and installation of controls systems to UL 508A standards including panel building, electrical schematics, equipment BOMs, and PLC/HMI programming.
  • Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, PanelView HMIs, Kinetix motion controls, and PowerFlex series variable speed drives or variable frequency drives (VFDs).

What you'll bringโ€ฆ

  • Associate degree or higher in Automation, Industrial Controls, Electro-mechanical, or similar related degree (BSEE or BSEET preferred).
  • Five-plus years of industrial manufacturing experience in design, fabrication, and installation of industrial control systems including Control- and CompactLogix PLCs, SLC 5/00 and MicroLogix PLCs, PanelView Plus 7 series and PanelView 5000 HMIs, Kinetix servo drives, PowerFlex VFDs, GuardMaster safety relays, IO-Link, and FANUC robotics.
  • Ability to navigate, and understanding of, electrical standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL 508A.
  • Experience with common fieldbus, communication protocols, and networking technologies such as EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, IO-Link, AS-i, CIP Safety, and managed ethernet switches.
  • Passion for industrial automation with a strong interest in mastering new automation technologies and continuing to grow and develop your skills and knowledge of Industrial Control Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality ready to work hard and collaborate with Palermoโ€™s Controls and Maintenance teams.

We currently have an opening on 2nd shift 2:30pm - 10:00pm and one opening on 3rd shift - 10:00pm-6:30am

Our maintenance team members work every other weekend and enjoy a 5-day workweek by scheduling days off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Overtime opportunities are also available for those who want to earn more.
