Job Summary

The Associate Product Manager works with the Marketing team to ensure successful commercialization and sustained sales in the Canadian market.ย  This position is responsible for the successful execution of business strategy and tactics including product training, marketing collateral development, tradeshow attendance and execution, and overall franchise and product support.ย  This position communicates with the sales force regarding new product development, product updates and availability, and provides ongoing product updates support as related to sales, product positioning, best practices, competitive analysis, and selling strategies. This position offers technical assistance as needed to sales team, and end users.ย  In addition, this role will work closely with the Product Management team on promotional and advertising programs and will perform varying daily Marketing activities.

Job Details/Responsibilities

Execute assigned marketing strategies and tactics for designated product lines by coordinating day-to-day activities, supporting launch and commercialization plans, and tracking progress against revenue, profitability, and business objectives.

Provide ongoing product and market support to the sales team by responding to inquiries, sharing product updates and availability information, preparing samples or literature as needed, and communicating positioning, competitive insights, and selling guidance.

Develop, update, and coordinate approval of sales and marketing materials, including brochures, product literature, advertising, training resources, trade show materials, and other collateral, ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand and business needs.

Support product training, customer in-services, and field-based activities by preparing training content, coordinating with Field Clinical and Training & Education teams, and helping sales representatives and customers understand product features, applications, and best practices.

Assist Product Managers and Marketing Management with marketing plans, selling strategies, fiscal business planning, trade shows, symposia, and commercialization projects by preparing inputs, coordinating logistics, monitoring deliverables, and supporting timely execution.

Coordinate follow-up on product quality, performance, availability, and customer feedback issues by gathering relevant information, communicating with internal stakeholders, documenting next steps, and supporting timely resolution in alignment with quality and business requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Must have strong knowledge of the human anatomy specifically including the vascular and venous systems.
  • Ability to understand complex medical procedures and engage in in-depth technical conversations with physicians, staff and key opinion leaders regarding medical procedures and proper product usage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and I-Pad navigation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate well with Territory Managers, Region Managers, and customers on the phone and in person.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Must exhibit strong teamwork and be adapt at working cross-functionally.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in both French & English a plus

Qualifications/ Background Experiences
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, biological/clinical science, or engineering and a minimum of 2 years' overall business experience in technical (i.e. clinical or engineering), sales or marketing position or an equivalent combination of training, education including equivalent clinical qualifications and relevant work experience
  • Experience in a medical product manufacturing company is preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing tactics and materials is preferred.
