Job Summary
Are you a creative and skilled writer with a passion for Local and National SEO? Join our team as an SEO and Content Marketing Specialist! Use your SEO knowledge, creativity, and writing expertise to craft compelling content that drives organic search growth for our clients. You'll excel at blogging, website copywriting, script writing, and developing data-driven content/SEO strategies. Your work will directly impact our clients by enhancing their online visibility, driving more traffic to their websites, and ultimately contributing to their business growth. If you're passionate about creating quality, brand-aligned content through keyword and industry research, we want to hear from you!

Duties

  • Craft compelling, optimized, quality content for a wide variety of clients.
  • Self-review and peer-review content for spelling, grammar, tone, voice and clarity.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand standards and SEO best practices.
  • Identify key structural, technical and editorial enhancements to improve content quality, SEO performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as web development, design and video.
  • Develop short-term and long-term content/SEO strategies by analyzing data.
  • Become proficient with search marketing tools.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on website performance metrics.
  • Present findings and proposed strategy to clients and peers.
  • Educate clients and colleagues about the latest search marketing trends.
  • Create and deliver audits and reports for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Attend sales discoveries and pitches as necessary. Support client onboarding tasks including reviewing estimates for project time and cost.
  • Participate in the Annual Planning process for clients.
  • Participate in post-project actualization.

Experience

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • At least two years of content creation experience.
  • A keen eye for clean content deliverables and consistent formatting.
  • Experience or interest in search engine optimization, including technical and data analysis skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Presentation skills and the desire to speak to clients.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A basic understanding of on-page and technical SEO.
  • Experience with data analysis and/or SEO research tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Semrush, Screaming Frog).

Preferred:

  • Google Analytics certification and GA4 proficiency.
  • Google Looker Studio experience.
