Job Description


DELTA |v| Forensic Engineering reconstructs motor vehicle collisions through a team approach by involving senior-level and associate-level engineering staff on each assignment. Our associate engineers play a critical role in conducting fieldwork and performing analysis using the latest technologies in 3D laser scanning, drones, and computer simulations. They also work closely with our senior engineers in presenting accurate and compelling results to our clients, and at times, supporting our senior engineers who are asked to testify in court. Our 2026 Summer Interns will have the opportunity to shadow the office analysis process, complete their own data analysis project, set up basic simulation projects, and contribute to internal documentation.


Skills & Qualifications


Complete administrative duties with accuracy and care, including but not limited to:

  • Processing and analyzing 3D data
  • Scanning, filing, archiving
  • Organization of evidence, equipment, and warehouse
  • Data transfer and updating of Delta | v | materials lists
  • Shadow experienced engineers completing office analysis work
  • Participate in a Data Analysis Project - Vehicle Testing - Data analysis from full scale vehicle testing of heavy truck collision mitigation systems to evaluate performance metrics and reliability of event data recording.
  • Work with MADYMO software setting up basic simulation projects and preparing internal documentation for training and valuable software evaluation/testing.
