Position Summary

Cybersecurity Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems to protect an organization's digital assets (data, network, systems) from cyber threats. Safeguard sensitive data from hackers and cyber-criminals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hardening the infrastructure
  • Configuring the routing protocols, securing the transport layer, and monitoring to ensure a zero-defect environment
  • Display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.  
  • Develop and deploy secure network solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security controls 
  • Conducting security assessments and penetration testing  
  • Continuously monitoring, managing, and updating security measures to counter new threats  
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to sensitive data  
  • Troubleshooting security and network problems 
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization  

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science 
  • CCNP
  • Azure – Security Engineering Associate
  • Certified Ethical Hacker
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience 
  • Knowledge in Open Systems Implementation (OSI) Layers 2 – Data Link through Layer 4 - Transport
  • Superb understanding of ITIL Managing Professional
  • Familiarity with security tools and software is essential.
  • Proficiency in security protocols, network architecture, and programming language.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to effectively analyze security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members and management. 
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
