Job description

Blew & Associates, P.A. seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Zoning Research Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed research on zoning regulations, land use ordinances, and municipal codes to support zoning compliance reports, development projects, and due diligence reviews. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex zoning and planning documentation across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research on zoning laws, ordinances, and land-use regulations.
  • Review and interpret zoning maps, municipal codes, and planning documents.
  • Contact local planning and zoning departments to verify information and obtain documentation.
  • Compile findings into clear, concise, and accurate zoning reports.
  • Ensure all data collected is properly sourced, verified, and documented.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure report quality.
  • Track and update research progress using internal systems and databases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of zoning terminology, regulations, and trends.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
