  • Manages and directs the operations and delivery of patient care within the budgetary, staffing and regulatory guidelines, using evidence based proactive.
  • Ensures that personnel demonstrate quality standards of customer satisfaction and patient care.
  • Manages nursing and ancillary personnel within an assigned area or unit by coaching, educating, consulting, training and evaluating their performance.
  • Plans, schedules and organizes the work of the assigned area or unit to ensure the proper distribution of assignments and efficient utilization of clinical personnel, space and facilities.
  • Participates in planning, preparing, and prioritizing of budgets for assigned areas of responsibility. Monitors compliance, investigates variances and provides plans for remediation.
  • Assures compliance with productivity standards for assigned area/units.
  • Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities to enhance the delivery of clinical care.
  • Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital, or medical center committee, task force, or project team to improve patient care or work area demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
