About the job
We're looking for an Associate Client Advocate for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time and on-site. You'll be a key member of our Customer Advocacy team, engaging customers directly and helping manage the AI-powered tools that support our collections and renewals efforts.
About the role
You'll spend your day on the phone, proactively reaching out to customers to build relationships and carry productive conversations. You'll manage AI agents and related workflows that support customer outreach, and you'll apply strong business judgment to support collections and renewal activities, regardless of whether you've worked in collections before.
Key Responsibilities
You'll make proactive outbound calls to customers, targeting 40-50+ calls per day, confidently initiating conversations and building rapport. You'll oversee and manage AI agents and the workflows behind them, making sure automated customer touchpoints run smoothly and escalating where a human conversation is needed.
You'll support collections conversations, discussing outstanding balances and payment options with customers in a clear, professional way. You'll also support renewal discussions, helping customers see the value in staying with Aptean and flagging opportunities for your team.
You'll use general business acumen to prioritize your outreach and understand the bigger picture behind each account. You'll partner closely with your Team Manager on escalations, complex accounts, and process improvements.
About you
You're a confident, natural communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You're comfortable making 40-50+ outbound calls daily and thrive on carrying a conversation, building trust quickly, and keeping customers engaged. You bring strong general business acumen and good judgment about when to push and when to listen.
You're comfortable working alongside AI tools, and genuinely interested in learning how to manage and get the most out of AI agents as part of your daily workflow. You're customer-focused, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in collections is not required. What matters most is your ability to get on the phone, hold a great conversation, and represent Aptean well. You communicate clearly in English and are comfortable in Excel and word processing software.
To be ahead of the pack, you might have:
  • Experience in customer service, sales, collections, or renewals

  • Experience working with AI tools, digital assistants, or automation platforms

  • Familiarity with CRM systems

  • A track record of hitting outreach or engagement targets
