An Associate Chiropractor is a licensed healthcare professional who works under the supervision or partnership of a senior chiropractor within a clinic. Their primary responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal issues, especially those related to the spine. They perform spinal adjustments, recommend rehabilitative exercises, and provide lifestyle advice to improve patient health. Associate Chiropractors may also assist with patient consultations, maintain treatment records, and contribute to the overall management of the practice.

To thrive as an Associate Chiropractor, you need a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, state licensure, and a solid understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and adjustment techniques. Familiarity with digital radiography, patient management software, and continuing education or certifications in specialized chiropractic techniques are often required. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to educate and motivate patients are highly valued in this role. Job description

Associate Chiropractor – Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Focus

North Fort Myers, FL

Seeking a motivated, compassionate Associate Chiropractor with a strong interest in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and functional patient care to join our growing practice.

We are looking for a chiropractor who enjoys working collaboratively with patients and our clinical team to help individuals decrease pain, restore function, improve mobility, and achieve long-term health and wellness goals.

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal associate is someone who is:

  • Licensed or eligible for chiropractic licensure in the State of Florida
  • Passionate about chiropractic care, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and patient education
  • Comfortable developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Confident working with patients experiencing musculoskeletal pain, injuries, mobility limitations, and functional concerns
  • Professional, dependable, personable, and an excellent communicator
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in an integrated clinical environment
  • Focused on providing excellent patient care and creating a positive patient experience
  • Interested in growing professionally and becoming an important part of an established practice

Responsibilities

  • Perform chiropractic evaluations and examinations
  • Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Provide chiropractic adjustments and other appropriate chiropractic care
  • Incorporate physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, stretching, mobility, strengthening, and rehabilitation techniques into patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, home care, and prevention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the clinical and administrative team
  • Help create a welcoming, professional, and patient-centered environment

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college
  • Active Florida chiropractic license or eligibility for Florida licensure
  • Appropriate physiotherapy certification/credentials as required for practice in Florida
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed, patient-centered care

Experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, corrective exercise, sports injuries, or functional movement is a plus, although we welcome candidates who are eager to continue developing these skills.

Why Join Us?

We believe excellent care involves more than treating symptoms. We want to help patients understand what is contributing to their condition, restore function, and become active participants in their recovery.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a chiropractor who enjoys hands-on care combined with physiotherapy and rehabilitation and wants to work within a supportive team environment.
