Job description

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Chemical Process Engineer opportunity to support anEngineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Work Location: Greenville, SC
Chemical Process Engineer-
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct construction document reviews.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
  • Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
  • Demonstrate design experience in areas such as but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.

Education/Yrs. Of Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of five (5) years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer License

Other Job Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
