We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst with 14+ years of overall IT/Business Analysis experience and strong hands-on experience with the Salesforce CRM platform. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

The candidate should have extensive experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, Salesforce implementations, user story creation, stakeholder management, UAT, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and business process discussions.
  • Analyze current-state business processes, identify gaps and pain points, and define future-state processes.
  • Translate business needs into detailed business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create process flows, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and business process documentation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, QA teams, and project leadership.
  • Provide functional expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CRM capabilities.
  • Understand Salesforce data models, objects, relationships, security concepts, reports, dashboards, automation, and declarative functionality.
  • Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and recommend solutions aligned with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to ensure requirements are accurately translated into scalable solutions.
  • Support Lead-to-Cash, Opportunity Management, Case Management, Customer Service, Account Management, and CRM transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain product backlogs, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder priorities.
  • Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, validation, and production deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with business users during UAT and ensure delivered functionality meets approved requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, data quality enhancement, and Salesforce optimization.
  • Analyze reports, dashboards, KPIs, and business data to support process and operational improvements.
  • Prepare training materials, user guides, release documentation, and support materials.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve requirement conflicts, and facilitate consensus across business and technical teams.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior Business Analysts and functional team members.
  • Ensure project documentation, requirements, and scope are maintained throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Required Technical & Functional Skills
  • 14+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or IT consulting.
  • Strong experience working as a Salesforce Business Analyst / Salesforce Functional Consultant.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Good understanding of Experience Cloud, CRM processes, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, objects, relationships, reports, dashboards, security, profiles, permission sets, and sharing concepts.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Flow, validation rules, approval processes, automation, and declarative configuration.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and understanding of APIs and enterprise application integrations.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, process mapping, and functional analysis.
  • Expertise in creating BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong experience with UAT planning, test scenarios, test cases, defect management, and business sign-off.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile/project management tools.
  • Ability to understand complex enterprise processes and convert them into actionable Salesforce requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.
  • Experience working on large-scale Salesforce transformation or implementation programs.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics, or Agentforce is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
