Job description

Position: Business Process Analyst

Duration: 9 months 

Location: Houston TX (onsite)
 

Job Description:

  • Document business processes, including process mapping, business rules, training materials, and other relevant documentation, and update as necessary.
  • Facilitate process meetings, guiding teams to document current "as-is" processes and design future "would-be" processes.
  • Analyze requirements and align them with company/project processes as needed.
  • Identify and extract the necessary data from business systems to support research efforts.
  • Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, areas of concern, predictive indicators
  • Build consensus on recommendations by gathering feedback and addressing it appropriately.
  • Develop and deliver findings and actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to ensure business systems effectively support operational processes.
  • Ensure business processes are effectively communicated to all team members.
  • Manage projects, including developing action plans, communication strategies, planning meetings, and ensuring follow-ups and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Some experience in regard to documentation would be flowcharts (likely with swim lanes representing multiple teams doing different tasks in a process) and maybe specify that they could be creating runbooks
