Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Business Process Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
• Develop data visualizations utilizing Power BI, Kidasa Milestones Professional, and Tableau
• Perform miscellaneous data analysis and ad-hoc visualization creation as required
• Work with peers and business partners to identify workflows or processes where automation can improve efficiency and/or reduce costs
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify the cause, determine possible resolutions, and remediate issues in current visualizations and data sets
• Support multiple priorities against ambitious timelines
• Research, evaluate, and determine best fit of tools and techniques for data mapping, data mining, data transformation, and data integration
• Develop complex queries or routines to extract data from disparate sources
• Consult with stakeholders to define data needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions
• Support cross-team development efforts for multiple projects, including data cleanup, ingestion, and linkage with other data sets
• Document design, deployment and operating procedures for each work product

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 2 years professional experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business-related OR a Master's degree with 0 years experience OR a high school diploma and 6yrs experience.
  • Experience with MS Power BI and Excel (including Power Query, DAX, VBA)
  • Work experience in multiple code languages with querying, scripting, and automation (i.e., Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, Power BI/Dax)
  • Working Knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools like Tableau, Kibana, and Power BI
  • Experience with one or more of these database systems: Oracle, MySQL, SQLite
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data queries and workflows
  • Experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Acumen Fuse, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
  • Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) techniques and frameworks experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Experience in a DoD EMD environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
