Job description

The Operations Product Experience & Technology (PXT) Finance and Business Manager Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the Ops PXT CFO and senior leadership by delivering comprehensive financial analysis, strategic insights, and business performance optimization. This position leads the consolidation and presentation of monthly business review materials, manages core financial planning processes such as forecasting and budgeting, and drives the adoption of data visualization and automation initiatives to enhance real-time reporting and decision-making. The Associate partners closely with product finance, and technology teams across the business, ensuring alignment on key initiatives and providing actionable recommendations that support both tactical and long-term objectives.

Success in this high-profile, fast-paced role requires a proven track record in finance, business management, and stakeholder engagement. The Associate is responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks, optimizing cost structures, and implementing productivity initiatives. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams-including Compliance, Project Management, Procurement, Real Estate, and HR-is essential to navigate complex challenges and shifting priorities. By building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor, the Associate ensures the business is well-positioned to meet evolving market requirements and maintains JPMorganChase's standard of excellence in financial services.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and coordinate high-quality, insightful presentations and monthly progress reviews for Senior Management, clearly communicating achievements, challenges, and next steps, while supporting continuous ad hoc requests and innovation initiatives across the business.

Manage core financial planning processes-including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis-to support strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.

Collaborate effectively across many key stakeholder groups to drive analyses of new business initiatives and tracking of outcomes

Provide support for continuous ad hoc requests, routine reporting, and innovation initiatives across the business

Communicate, interact with, and influence colleagues at all levels in the business including senior leaders

Handle confidential information in a professional manner

Produce polished, executive-ready materials under tight timelines

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills, with the ability to distill and synthesize large amounts of data and qualitative information into key takeaways

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment abilities

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to partners and senior leaders

  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change across a large, complex organization

  • Team-oriented, high energy, and passionate about driving quantifiable business results

  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and maintain keen attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to develop new concepts, processes, and value-added activities

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong technical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, PitchPRO), MS Teams, and SharePoint

  • Proven experience partnering with subject matter experts to deliver holistic business insights

  • Experience in Technology Finance & Business Management

  • Advanced knowledge of Essbase and business applications such as Tableau and Ariba

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
