The Opportunity


Our Pitram business is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across North America, with a primary focus on underground mining operations in Quebec and Ontario.

Supported by technical specialists and pre-sales resources, you'll lead commercial conversations from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure, helping mining organisations realise the value of digital transformation within their operations.

The Impact you'll have

  • Grow Pitram's presence across North America's underground mining sector.
  • Develop and execute territory plans that generate a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with mine operations, technical, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
  • Position Pitram's value through consultative, outcome-focused sales conversations.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships across the broader Micromine and Weir technology portfolio.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights that influence future product strategy.

What you need to succeed

  • Fluent English and French communication skills.
  • Experience in underground mining, mining technology, fleet management, mine operations, mine engineering, or related mining software solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, enterprise sales, or solution selling environments.
  • Strong relationship-building and prospecting capability with a proactive approach to generating pipeline.
  • Understanding of underground mining operational workflows and customer challenges.
  • Experience with fleet management, mine operations software, dispatch systems, planning solutions, or operational technology highly desirable.
  • Comfortable travelling throughout Canada and across North America as required.

What you can expect from us

  • A base salary range of CAD $120,000 to 155,000 CAD DoE, plus OTE.
