Position: SAP BTP Developer
Duration: 12+ months – contract

JOB DESCRIPTION

SKILLS NEEDED : SAP BTP (Business technology Platform), S/4HANA/Cloud ERP Private implementations, SAP BASIS support for BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)

·         Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices

·         Delivers high quality work and coaches more junior engineers on technical craftsmanship

·         Conducts root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and defines and leads execution of action items to address

·         Designs thoughtfully integrated systems that model organizational best practices, allowing disparate teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability

·         Oversees the management of technical debt in existing systems and drives opportunities to eliminate within ongoing implementations

·         Consistently anticipates scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guides teams in implementation of mitigating strategies

·         Partners with the security organization to incorporate security conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems

·         Thoughtfully evaluates technical risks and guides toward practical prevention strategies]

·         Consistently reflects on squad delivery practices throughout their span of of influence, recommends improvements to leadership and drives their implementation

·         Maintains a focus on removing the duplication of effort across teams and proactively identifies opportunities for reuse within their span of influence

·         Thoughtfully measures and assesses team and identifies areas of development for individuals

·         Explores emerging technologies, leads development of prototypes with little or no guidance and incorporates into architectural solutions where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

·         Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

·         8+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

·         Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

·         Master''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

·         Airline Industry experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

·         Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and subaccount management.

·         Experience designing side by side extensions to keep the S/4HANA core clean.

·         Proficiency working with BTP environments (Cloud Foundry / Kyma exposure preferred).

·         Strong understanding of Clean Core principles and SAP recommended extensibility approaches.

·         Hands on development using Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

·         Front end development using SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements.

·         Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management

·         Experience designing event driven, publish/subscribe (Pub/Sub) solutions.

·         Hands on knowledge of SAP Event Mesh.

·         Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP application development.

·         Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of BTP applications.

·         Required / Preferred Certifications:

·         SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Extension Suite

·         SAP Certified Associate – SAP S/4HANA

·         SAP Certified Development Associate – Backend Developer (Cloud Application Programming Model)

·         Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools

·         Deployment Technologies: SAP S/4HANA On Premise or S/4HANA Cloud – Private Edition, Exposure to SAP BTP for side by side extensions, CI/CD concepts in SAP landscape

·         Source Control: GitHub, Azure DevOps

·         CICD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

·         Integration/APIs Technologies: IDocs, ODATA Services, Web Services (SOAP/REST), File Based Integrations, AIF, PI/PO, Integration Suite, Event Mesh (Publish/Subscribe model)

·         ETL pipeline development experience with Azure ecosystem

·         Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python)
