Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in New Orleans, LA. The Associate Attorney will handle a varied caseload, including drafting pleadings, motions, and contracts, as well as reviewing and analyzing legal documents. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing memoranda, and providing clear legal advice to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys. The role involves attending client meetings, participating in negotiations, and assisting in hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as needed. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure timely, organized case management and effective communication with clients and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Employment Law, Personal Injury and/or Entertainment Law with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in legal Research, including case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and preparation of concise legal memoranda.
  • Effective Negotiation skills, with experience or training in resolving disputes and advocating for client interests.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Louisiana, or eligibility for prompt admission.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, client service, and collaborative teamwork within a law firm environment.
