Job description

Segal McCambridge, a respected national litigation firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Practice Group in our West Los Angeles office. This is a unique opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases while working alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of our team, you'll work on a wide variety of complex civil defense matters, including:

  • Catastrophic injury
  • Product liability
  • Wrongful death
  • Premises and habitability claims
  • Warranty and other high-exposure litigation

From day one, you'll receive hands-on experience: drafting pleadings, arguing motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court. You'll be mentored by experienced partners and given room to grow in a supportive, high-performance environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active license to practice law in California
  • At least 3 years of experience in civil defense litigation
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
  • Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
