Job description

Description
Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation, Personal Injury & Government Affairs
Washington Legal Group
Atlanta Metropolitan Area | Hybrid | Full-Time
About Washington Legal Group
Washington Legal Group is a multi-practice law firm representing clients in personal injury, civil and business litigation, family law, and government affairs. We combine strategic advocacy with responsive, personalized service and take a collaborative, hands-on approach to every matter.
About the Role
Washington Legal Group is seeking an Associate Attorney to support the firm's civil litigation, personal injury, and government affairs practices.
The Associate will work closely with firm leadership on legal research, written advocacy, case strategy, discovery, negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation. The role includes responsibility for personal injury matters from intake through resolution, as well as civil litigation and government affairs assignments.
This is a hybrid position based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The successful candidate must be available for in-office work, client meetings, court appearances, and other in-person responsibilities as needed.
We are looking for a relentless and resourceful legal researcher-someone who digs into the facts, the record, and the law until the firm's position is thoroughly supported and then communicates that position clearly and persuasively.
The right candidate will also be personable, hard-working, organized, and comfortable interacting with clients in high-stakes situations. Our office is direct, collaborative, and high-energy. This position is best suited for an attorney who can keep pace with an active docket, bring structure to demanding matters, and work closely with firm leadership.
