Job description

Our client is a premier litigation boutique representing individuals and companies in complex civil litigation representing defendants and plaintiffs. We are seeking a 2nd-7th year associate to join our growing team.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys on a wide variety of complex litigation matters. Associates in this role take meaningful ownership of cases while collaborating with partners and colleagues in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a thoughtful, driven attorney who takes pride in excellent written work, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft dispositive motions, briefs, and memoranda

• Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation

• Assist in preparing witnesses, experts, and trial strategy

• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and trial preparation

• Work directly with clients, experts, and investigators

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in a litigation practice at a law firm and/or relevant government agency

• Experience in complex civil litigation

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Strong professional judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong academic credentials

• California Bar admission required
